The Postal Service has revealed several stamps set to launch in 2025
- Allen Toussaint will be the 48th addition to the Black Heritage series, celebrating the talented pianist, singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer.
- American Vistas will feature two presorted standard stamps showcasing stylized, minimalist depictions of mountains and a beach, designed for business mail.
- The Appalachian Trail will include a pane of 15 stamps featuring photographs from each of the 14 states along the hiking path from Maine to Georgia.
- Baby Wild Animals will present 10 whimsical and visually appealing stamp designs.
- Betty White will be honored with a stamp celebrating her legacy as a television icon.
- Dahlias will consist of a booklet with 20 stamps, including 10 close-up images of dahlia flowers.
- Love (2025) will introduce a new stamp in the beloved series, showcasing a drawing by Keith Haring (1958-1990).
- Luna Moth will be a new stamp intended for irregularly sized envelopes.
- Schooner will feature an illustrated postcard depicting a two-masted sailing ship.
- The 1794 Compass Rose will be a Global stamp suitable for mailing a 1-ounce letter internationally via First-Class Mail.
- A new U.S. Flag stamp will be available in various formats.
- Vibrant Leaves will include five new postcard stamps representing leaves from trees found across the United States.
- Winter Landscapes will showcase five stamps with photographic images from different regions of the country.
- Year of the Snake will be the sixth stamp in the current Lunar New Year Series.
“This sneak peek into our 2025 stamp lineup reflects our dedication to offering a wide variety of subjects and designs for both collectors and stamp fans,” stated Lisa Bobb-Semple, director of stamp services. “This year, we are continuing several of our popular series and commemorative stamps while introducing exciting new designs. Moreover, some of our mail-use stamps, which are printed based on demand, will receive updates this year. Stay tuned for further announcements in the months ahead.”
The Postal Service made this announcement on November 15, noting that the designs are preliminary and may undergo changes. All stamps will be Forever stamps unless specified otherwise, with additional releases for 2025 to be announced later.
